Firstly I created the floor and hills using fractint to generate a plasma .pot file, which I then rotated and textured to give a planety surface. Next came the creation of the space station and ground vehicle. These were all done by using graph paper, my brain, and a lot of coffee !! The spaceship was created using Moray, and imported as an include file. The starfield texture in the background was taken from the example in the first issue of povzine, and mapped onto the inside of a large sphere. The headlight beams were based on an idea I got from c.g.r.r (sorry can't remember the name of the submitter). Finally, the planetoid is a simple sphere, with a sky texture. All the objects (or most of them anyway), were created with <0,0,0> as their centre. This made rotating and translating them into the correct positions much easier to work out than if I'd tried to place them in the right place initially, and tried to rotate them later. Hope you like it, Iain, iay@mfltd.co.uk /-----------------------------------------------------------------\ <---- Fatal error, keyboard not attached - Press F1 to continue ----> \-----------------------------------------------------------------/
