"Mixin' In The Rain" (c) cmoran@moose.uvm.edu Chris Moran (T-SNAKE) This scene was developed using GUM and POV. Yeah, I've included the pov source for it, and it's a doozy. Lots of beziers, which really do make great rain drops, if you've got the time to do sit and wait for the render. I don't know why the sky looks like shite, something is wrong with the texture scale, but there is no way I'm going through changing it and then re-rendering this beast. NO WAY! I am a DJ and this would not be the first time I've modeled turntables (which is what i use), BUT it *IS* the first time I've taken the time to actually model Technics 1200MKII s. What i've left out...forgot the hole for the 45 insert in the upper left corner, and I unbelievably forgot the pitch control sliders...duhhhhh... Actually, the arm (curvey thing with the needle/cartridge on the end was made with pdots...which I REALLY WISH WOULD GET UPDATED/UPGRADED. I screwed up the image map on the slipmats, but it's supposed to be another pov scene I did for a tape I'm releasing sometime soon-ish (it's techno). I ran out of time doing this, or i would have also added a decent scratchmaster mixer. peace out Chris T-SNAKE
